The boom in Thailand’s real estate market can largely be attributed to aforementioned increase in tourism activity as well as other cultural, sociopolitical and economic factors. 4)      It is a beautiful country with stunning beaches, dense rainforests and beautiful mountains dotting the entire length of the country. Its cities are brindled with colour and culture which draws tourists from all over the world.

5)      Thailand has a tropical temperature which means that there is plenty of sunshine throughout the year.

6)      The completion of the state of the art Suvarnabhumi-Bangkok International Airport (SBIA) makes travelling in and out of the country very easy as most international carriers have direct routes into Bangkok

7)      The country is still relatively undiscovered which makes the real estate prices very much lower than that of European and American cities. Furthermore, the strength of the western currencies makes the real estate even more affordable.

8)      Thailand is one of the biggest countries in Asia, both in size and population, which means the secondary real estate market as well as rental market viable for investors.

9)      Currently, there is no real capital gains tax levied.

In a nutshell, investing in real estate in Thailand is almost a no-brainer if one if looking for investments in Asia. The many socio-economic and cultural factors mentioned above makes the investment a very intelligent one.
